there is not a name i would take and make my own

a name of an animal who's destined to become

a butcher's earning, no more than that

a name of an animal is put over my head

that would be easier to just cut off and put on… something

not a single dictionary hides a set of letters that would magically fill the emptiness

there, in the place where my name would be

a name of an animal brings real pain to that emptiness

makes it shrink but doesn't make it smaller or simpler to experience, to tolerate

an unnecessary object, created for some purpose no one is aware of

a name of an animal that deserves no respect

that creates nothing but meaningless chewing

existing not as a living being

but a creature to use, to beat, to disrespect, to kill
